It’s exactly 2 more months to YOKKAO 45-46 which is set to take place in Turin, Italy on 25 January 2020. Our flagship event series will make its way back to the PalaRuffini Arena with an evening of top Muay Thai action installed. The first bout for the double event has been confirmed and will feature the headlining act starring Saenchai vs Shan Cangelosi from Italy.
The main event will mark the second meeting between the pair. Saenchai and Cangelosi first crossed paths in the ring at the PalaRuffini Arena back in 2017. The Italian fighter went the distance for three hard rounds against the Thai living legend with the latter bagging an away-win via unanimous decision.
Fighting out of Genoa’s Sanpayak Gym, Cangelosi is a respected Muay Thai and kickboxing fighter on his own terms. He has fought in the elite stadiums of Lumpinee and Rajadamnern and recently bested famed American Nak Muay, Kevin Ross. Cangelosi will now get another chance to prove himself on home turf against the living legend.
After over two decades competing at Muay Thai’s highest level, Saenchai remains one of the best active fighters today. He has remained undefeated since November 2014 with a remarkable streak of 51 wins and counting. Fans can look forward to a first class performance from the technical maestro on 25 January as he looks to continue his unbeaten streak in the coming fight.
YOKKAO 45-46 is set to to be yet another Muay Thai extravaganza with a star-studded cast. Other confirmed fighters for the coming show include multi-time Muay Thai champion, Singdam; fan-favorites, Manachai and Yodchai; and many more. Look out for more matchup details which will be announced in the week ahead.
