Turin in Italy Getting Ready for YOKKAO 35 - 36
Set to be staged at the 5000-seater arena of PalaRuffini in Turin, Italy, YOKKAO 35 - 36 looks to be one of the biggest shows for the promotion in recent years. The event will be held on 26 January 2019 and followed a day later by the YOKKAO Next Generation Kids show in the same venue. With 2 days of back-to-back Muay Thai action, fight fans are in for a real treat.
The promotion team was in Turin over the past week to survey the venue, and make plans for the light and stage design. Together with highly regarded promoter, Carlo Barbuto, YOKKAO promises to put up a show of epic proportions.
Other than its world-class production, YOKKAO is marking its return to Italy with nothing less than the most exciting lineup of fighters. 3 of YOKKAO’s biggest stars are already confirmed for the fight card - fans will be in for a triple treat with Saenchai, Singdam and Manachai headlining the show.
There is more to the trip than just the preparations for the January events. Carlo Barbuto’s Thai Boxe Torino, a reputable gym in the country, is set to come on board as the latest YOKKAO Affiliate Training Center. The center will host regular seminars with members of the YOKKAO Fight Team and give local fighters and fans an authentic outlet for learning the art of 8 limbs. Additionally, the partnership opens up more opportunities for Italian fighters to showcase their talents on the stage of YOKKAO. The inauguration date will be announced soon.
